Service

Giving back to the community is another one of our founding principles. We work closely with various charities every semester. In addition a range of informal philanthropic opportunities are always available to those interested.

Swings for Charity is our annual golf tournament and premier charity event every March benefitting the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Golfers of all levels are welcome. For sponsorship or registration information contact Ian Beckcom at ian.beckcom@gmail.com

Blood Drives benefiting the Blood and Tissue Center of Central Texas are hosted by our organization every semester. Due to the overwhelming success of our previous drives they will now take place over two days.

Habitat For Humanity allows our members to help local families in need. We schedule at least on reconstruction and deconstruction a semester.

Donation Drives hosted by other organizations gives us a chance to compete with other student organizations across campus while benefiting a great a cause. We recently won first place in the Texas Lasso ECC Drive benefitting Eastside Community Connection in Austin. We also won the 2009 Student Engineering Council E-Waste Drive.
